December 10, 2008, KUALA LUMPUR: Ever wondered what it’s like to be a supermodel? Being whisked from catwalks to TV commercials to fashion shoots! Amber Chia, Malaysia’s most prominent model, today launched a website which not only reveals the true nature of the day-to-day activities of a model’s life, but also reveals her inner self which very few have seen or heard.
The website entitled ‘Amber Chia Revealed’, allows her fans to navigate through her personal photos, from magazine spreads to those controversial ‘nude’ pictures. Fans will also have access to never-before-seen, behind the scenes footage from her various movie shoots and TV commercials.
As an interactive function, fans will be able to connect with Amber through “Amber Friends Club”. This function allows fans to ask those tricky questions, or just know more about Amber.
‘This website is a way of saying thank you to my many fans and of reaching out to them in a way that I haven’t done so before,’ quipped Amber.
Amber added that, ‘I’m proud that through this website, it doesn’t matter where I am in this world, I can still connect with those I I hold dear to my heart – to interact and give back all that I have been given.’
The website launch will also bear witness to the inaugural launch of Amber Chia’s very first classic erotic-art themed calendar. This risque calendar stretches the boundaries of acceptance and reveals the sensual and provocative side of Amber. This limited edition calendar will only be made available through Amber’s website and is especially packaged for this occasion.
As an exclusive incentive, the first one hundred who registers on the website will receive the limited edition calendar. Thereafter, Amber’s calendar can be purchased through the website. This calendar is Amber's first collaboration with Passionately Pink, and all proceeds from the sale of these limited edition calendars will go to the Assunta Foundation Social Welfare Fund in aid of breast cancer patients and the underprivileged. The calendar entitled "Amber Chia Sealed" will be sold at RM50.
